We have recently had the privilege to visit Spirits Place, which is a shelter dedicated to caring for feral and community cats, and sheltering homeless, abandoned, or abused cats in preparation for adoption. This organization has done this incredibly important job since 2016, and has spent a lot of that time involving the community in their mission. We are proud to say that the Abbott Memorial Library is taking a large interest in helping these cats, and supporting Spirits Place. We will have several events coming up that will be open to the public, like a Spay and Neuter event that will be held downstairs within the next couple months.
